Christmas at Reed Hollow
2012

To me, this is an uplifting way to end a year....
I went around the house taking pictures of some of my favorite Christmas things.  First, was the manger.  Now it was bright daylight, so there was no flash happening, in fact I was afraid that the pictures would come out too bright.  Here are the three pictures that I took of the manger...

Do you see the round circle of light above Mary, Joseph, and Jesus?

This is the second one...the halo is more evident. I decided to step back and take one more. Here's what I got next...

The beams from Heaven above!

To me, the pictures above are really special.  Hope you feel the same.  You can say that the halo of light was a piece of dust and that the beams of light were appearing because of the lacy curtain, but I'll think differently.  If is were dust on the lens, it wasn't there when I took the picture of our tree immediately afterwards.

Here are a few pictures throughout our house of some of my favorite collections...These were taken at night.

And now for the Skating House (I forgot to take a picture of the outside!)

First, the tree on the dock in the swamp.  Look to the right and see the bird's nest in the brush.
